The actress Rose Mensah, popularly known as Kyeiwaa, and her partner, Michael Kissi Asare, sealed their wedding ceremony in Worcester , Massachusetts, on Saturday , July 25 , 2020.
A number of her family and friends attended the ceremony.
The actress of Kumawood became famous in January 2020 after news of her remarriage under the laws of the United States of America.
The 57-year-old actress and Michael Kissi Asare went to court to get married.
It took them six months to arrange a white wedding to seal their union due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
This is, however, the second time she said ‘I do’ since her first marriage collapsed in 2015.
She was married to the Kumasi-based spare parts dealer, Daniel Osei, but their marriage lasted no more than five days.
She returned her ring and drinks after she learned that Osei was married to another woman.
She was accompanied by her father and a host of Kumawood actors and actresses to cancel the union.
In an interview after the annulment, Kyeiwaa said she knew that Osei had a child with another woman, but she didn’t know he was married to her, and because she didn’t want to be a second wife, the right thing to do was cancel her marriage.
After the divorce of the brouhaha, she was in and out of Ghana, mostly living in America.
