Contact team member of the governing New Patriotic Party, Nana Kwadwo Agyei Yeboah (Nana Kay) said that the Akufo-Addo government is actively implementing its industrialization transition plans to meet its obligation to the people.
According to him, the Ministry of Trade and Industry under Alan John Kwadwo Kyerematen and Alan Cash has quickly strengthened Ghana’s industrialization market, which is why it needs to be sponsored to thrive.
He clarified that, for example, the Ministry of Trade and Industry is working hard to improve entrepreneurship skills and empower young people to recognize market opportunities.
“We are paying more attention to make Ghana a simple place to do business and set up factories, which is why all Ghanaians must help President Akufo-Addo and Alan John Kwadwo Kyerematen in order to improve Ghana’s automotive industry,” Nana Kwadwo Agyei Yeboah (Nana Kay) told Kwaku Owusu Adjei on ‘Pae Mu Ka’ in Accra-based Kingdom FM 107.7.
He said, “In addition to a single district factory project, the Ministry of Trade and Industry is also embarking on what we term the Strategic Anchor Industries.
“So, potentially, in the next 5 years, we will diversify our economy away from cocoa and gold and look at the petrochemical industry and the integrated iron and steel, aluminum and bauxite sectors, which will then take us to a modern car assembly and automobile industry.”
He announced the government’s plan to set up industrial parks in each of the ten areas, citing this as a justification for the progress achieved in China and Asia.
