Musician Patapaa was admitted to hospital a month ago and it was rumored that he was being poisoned.
An indisposed Patapaa couldn’t come out to discuss the problem at the moment, but his management did and denied their singer as a consequence of food poisoning was on the brink of death.
Nevertheless, the management verified the musician’s reports of being hospitalized.
“The public is hereby told that the release is inaccurate and deceptive. The artist has been hospitalized but has little to do with food poisoning. Patapaa Amisty is doing fine and is rapidly healing from a mild illness.
Air released, the management wishes to notify the ‘Soyas’ and the general public to be relieved and urged to continue praying for the team so that little like this can happen in our culture.
But the big question remains: what prompted Patapa to be hospitalized?
The artist has demystified the uncertainty behind his hospitalization.
In a Tuesday, September 16, 2020 interview with Abeiku Aggrey Santana on Okay FM’s ‘Ekwanso Dwoodwoo,’ he cemented his management stance stressing that he was not poisoned.
Narrating what happened to him, he said that he realized that he was not feeling good and told a relative who then advised him to see the doctor he was doing and was diagnosed when he visited the hospital and realized that his condition was serious.
His disease, according to him, was a high fever that subsequently degenerated into malaria.
“I wasn’t all right, so it wasn’t poison. But, I was really ill. It was a heavy fever. I don’t want the medication, because it’s evolving into malaria,” he said.
